Supporting Karting Clubs Across Australia

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

The hardest part about becoming a volunteer is taking the plunge and offering your services to the club.

To help out on Club Days or at other events, speak to the Club Secretary and let them know you’re keen to get involved.

They will quickly work out a role that would be suited to you.

As a part of the Membership signup process, your Club should create a “business register” of the services conducted by each member in their day-to-day lives and encourage members to do business with each other – and have them front of mind when needed by the club!

Some common jobs performed by karting club members that can be useful to the Club can include:

  • Electrician
  • Plumber
  • Painter
  • Concretor
  • IT
  • Merchandise (club shirts)
  • PR/Journalist (to assist with club publicity)
  • Caterer
  • Food supplies
  • Chemical supplies (cleaning, amenities consumables)
  • Landscaper
  • Lawn Mowing

Of course, not everyone will be willing to volunteer, but if you don’t ask, you don’t get – and if you are one of those businesspeople – always think about how the club might be able to benefit from your services! You never know where that can lead to.
