AFL Premiership Coach, Mark Williams will be the keynote speaker at Karting Australia’s Building Better Clubs Conference to be held at Taylors Lake Hotel & Conference Centre, Victoria on Saturday October 27.
The conference will be an informative day for Clubs from right around Australia and will cover off a variety of topics on how you can improve your kart club.
The day will begin with a session with Williams, who coached Port Adelaide to its maiden AFL flag in 2004. He will speak on inspiring your club to success – his speaking platform that takes him across the country.
It will then move into plenary sessions that are designed to make your club run more efficiently and developing a successful club culture.
Steve Pallas – Founder and Managing Director of Sports Community will address running your club easier – he has worked with grassroots clubs around Australia and many of the leading sports organisations in Australia including Cricket Australia, Netball Victoria and a number of State Government bodies.
Following lunch, operational sessions take place on creating a Great Events Calendar and having that as the bedrock of growth for your club before a session on officiating and encouraging more volunteers to join your club.
The afternoon will focus on a workshop on branding and presenting your club as to how you would like it to be presented before a session of Club Days of the Future.
The day will end with a session to Rev It Up for Fun – a look ahead to 2019.
Registration is FREE to the first three Club Delegates from around Australia and the first four State Delegates. Additional passes are available at a subsidised cost of $75 and the industry is welcome to attend at $75 per delegate.
