RAISING FUNDS TO IMPROVE YOUR CLUB
The idea of improved facilities for your club is often a hot topic among members and potentially an extremely positive step in your clubs future growth.
The most difficult aspect of running many clubs is finding ways to finance the needs of the members. Effective fundraising depends on profitable ideas backed by a team ready to coordinate and implement the efforts. Traditional ideas are often successful as they are tried and true, while new methods can also generate nice profits due to the fun and excitement involved in a novel approach.
Increased Membership is an obvious way of being able to raise more funds for your club but the club must also have the environment and facilities to attract these new members. Through Karting Australia there is the opportunity to access Safety Grants along with funds through the Track/Facilities Development Fund.
There are also a number of opportunities through Local and State Governments, Councils and Organisations to access various grants at different times. Clubs are encouraged to research what possible grants are available for their region through these outlets to raise funds for their club. Sporting organisations can access a broad range of funding programs from government and non-government sources.
