VOLUNTEERS
Like any not-for-profit community organisation, a kart club relies on Volunteers to make sure its activities take place.
In this case, it is race meetings. Volunteers can perform any number of tasks at a race meeting, including but not limited to:
- Officials
- Canteen work
- Accepting entries
- Race timing
- Race secretary
- Maintenance and cleaning
- Flagging
Many clubs offer incentives for club members to get involved as volunteers- such as Club Championship points – and there are many other ways that Clubs can draw on their members’ skill bases. This section will help you through this.
